The Storrier is the first of a series of hotels to take their cues from renowned Australian artists. Each 'art' hotel takes on the look and feel of its adopted artist's works; in this case leading Sydney artist Tim Storrier and his awe-inspiring piece, Point to Point (Evening Blaze). Storrier's works adorn the hotel throughout, while the general attitude, style and palette of the hotel is informed by Point to Point (Evening Blaze).
Located in the heart of Potts Point and the city's entertainment district, The Storrier is a contemporary 'home away from home' with earthy hues, bold patterns and subdued lighting which create a glowing atmosphere of warmth and luxury throughout.
Set in a remarkable Art Deco building only a few minutes walk from the busy nightlife of Kings Cross or the sophistication of Woolloomooloo Wharf. The designers have retained the character of this historic building whilst creating unsurpassed standards of comfort and luxury. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, Red Belly restaurant offers guests and casual diners exotic and exemplary fare from breakfast to supper.
No two rooms are the same in our contemporary styled and well appointed boutique hotel. The fresh crisp base is highlighted with splashes of black, shades of chocolate and muted caramel tones, producing a unique and inviting ambiance.
Rooms: Superior Studio - Stylish contemporary New York feel, the Superior Suite is highlighted with splashes of black, shades of chocolate and muted caramel tones producing a unique and inviting ambience that is teamed with the latest technology and comforts, including a fully equipped kitchenette, individual climate controlled air conditioning, luxurious queen size serene sleep bed, plasma television screen, I-pod docking station, wireless internet access, Molton Brown amenities, and some studios have their own private balcony. Maximum occupancy is two people.
Deluxe Studio - Luxuriously appointed suites with New York inspired décor consisting of black and white fabric chairs and lamps. Generous in size and featuring a day bed, some suites feature their own private balcony. Showcasing prints and oils by Tim Storrier, the ambience is sophisticated and intimate and includes the latest in luxury and technology – A fully equipped kitchenette, individual climate controlled air conditioning, luxurious queen size serene sleep bed, plasma television screen, IPod docking station, wireless internet and Molton Brown amenities. Maximum occupancy is two people.
Petite Studio - Petite Sutdio facilities include a bar fridge, broadband access( Fee Apply), and an IPod docking station. Rates are for 2 people, maximum occupancy is 2.
Executive Queen Twin Suite - The Executive Suite features a Queen size bed with breathtaking views. High speed broadband internet access is standard in this room along with a 26" LCD flat screen television, FOXTEL cable TV a Digital Video on Demand system. The room has a built-in work station with a MP3 player clock/radio/alarm console, STD/IDD, voicemail, Cisco telephone system is available and the room offers an Individual climate controlled air conditioning/heating.

Transportation: Heading toward the city from the airport take the Kings Cross exit and turn right on William Street. Up the hill three blocks and take the left-hand exit to Kings Cross. Take the first left into Victoria Street. Travel approximately 70 metres down Victoria Street, turn right at Earl Street. Follow Earl Street as it merges into Earl Place, then Springfield Avenue. Alternative entry (non-vehicular) via Springfield Plaza, off Darlinghurst Road.
By train to Kings Cross Station (5 minutes walk south to hotel). If coming from the airport change at Central from the airport line to the Eastern Suburbs Line.
From the City 324, 325 & 311 bus routes all pass nearby and we are within 5 minutes walk of Taylor Square (Oxford Street).
